Option to fix the colour of pieces in all games,a good idea?

I often get confused about colour of my side in long streak of back to back matches. Is it a feasible possibility to introduce an option to fix a particular colour to your pieces in all games just like the texture of chess board. 2 players can fix different board texture it will only be visible on client side, same way is it okay to bring in an option to fix a random solid color to your pieces that's only visible on the client side ?
