OTF math

Many OTF do not know how do math. BUT we can help with simple multiplication tricks. Take 413 x 3, hard right, well 2 tricks. First step is breaking it down. We can do something like this (400 x 3) + (10 x 3) + (3 x 3). It is much simpler now. 400 times 3 does sound hard BUT we can do 4 x 3 which is 12 and add back the 2 zeros makes it 1200. Next we do 10 x 3 which is 30 and 3 x 3 is 9. Now do 1200+30+9 which is 1239. Another trick we can do is this. Draw 4 tallys under the 4, 1 tally under the 1 and 3 tallys under the 3. Now draw 3 horizontal lines (the reason why 3 because 3 is the one that we are multiplying). Now mark dots on the crossed section on the horizontal line. You should have 12 dots for the 4, 3 dots on the 1, and 9 dots for 3. Now we use place value. Add back the zeros so now we do 1200+30+9 (btw we get numbers from dots) which iz 1239. OR we can sneak a calculator and do this in 5 seconds

#1 “Many OTF do not know how to do math.” I’ll stop you right there, that is so untrue they prob know more math then you frfr 🥀

#1 btw we ain’t in 2nd grade the age limit is 13+ so ngl you just wrote all that for nothing.

Or we can sneak a calculator is the most honest math tip I’ve seen here XD

Try this: ω(x)=(x^2)/x-1 ω(5)=?

Avatar of KaenoxXR

#13 Careful. Mathematics, like people, rarely forgives misinterpretation of structure. ω(5) = 4… assuming you read it correctly.
