Other hobbies besides chess?

It would be interesting to hear your unique hobbies and see how they compare to others who play chess.
I like fishing, politics, my aquarium, weighlifting, and chess. And i like to play paintball but i never get to

Basketball. Can't do pickups anymore but at least I have a ring in my backyard.
Off road biking. Mostly in the hills surrounding our cabin.
Swimming has been a recently acquired hobby. If anyone is wondering, my family has private property very close to the shore, so I'm not breaking quarantine.

I collect rocks. Especially outer-space rocks: meteorites and tektites. I have a glass vial full of moon dust, from the NWA 482 lunar meteorite.
That's cool. I have a small collection of terrestrial rocks. It used to be larger but I downsized it a couple years ago.
I have way too many hobbies. Hiking, backpacking, kayaking for movement. I seem to build up a collection of things for five or ten years and then move to another. Now I have all this stuff laying around that I'm slowly downsizing or eliminating. I have small collections of swords and daggers, pretty(?) rocks, firearms (oh no!), multi-tools, and dice. For entertainment I have a collection of over 900 movies on DVD as well as many video shorts like the Stooges and Chaplin, and old cartoons.
Like I said, way, way too much stuff.

better to have too many hobbies than too little

I enjoy creative writing. Just recently, I actually submitted a short story about chess into a writing competition--it's about me as a fifteen-year-old going to (and almost winning) a tournament. I adapted it to work for nonplayers too, but I'd be really interested to see what chess players thought of it!
I find no worry in his eyes. He’s the hunter. Before a single move has played out, he’s won the psychological battle...
It's about a four minute read, and if you think it's good, I'd love it if you could vote for it. It's a finalist, and if I can get enough support it'll be published in story dispensing machines around the world! Here's the link.

The attached game is the climactic final confrontation. Props to the first person who figures out which side I was on.
