I cannot play any online game now when the page is suddenly redirected to home. searchpile.com, a new tab opens or ads pop up on the web screen. The malware does many unwanted changes and could endanger personal information, according to this post. But my MSE does not scan anything. It does not work when I uninstall it from the Control Panel. Do you have any idea? Thanks in advance!

Google Search always helps - there are plenty of instructions on how to remove this adware (including using their own "freeware" tool). Just skimming the first three hits, the one that seems to give you the most tips on doing it manually (including a video) is this one: http://blog.doofix.com/how-to-get-rid-of-home-searchpile-com-virus-manually/

Dear elleun, I suggest you use Malwarebytes anti-malware to perform a scan of the system. The tool should detect and delete the virus from your PC. Or you can follow the manual steps in this post (http://guides.uufix.com/how-to-remove-home-searchpile-com-from-your-computer-browser-hijacker-removal/) to delete home.searchpile.com by yourself. If necessary, you may need to reset your browser settings to defaults. Hope the methods there do the trick.

Good luck.

Sign up for Geek Squad support. Seriously, when I have issues that require I grab some tissues, I just dial 1-800-GEEK-SQUAD, they have me download a remote access program and enter a code, and they remove all malware/spyware and restore browser settings. Takes about an hour, and don't have to unplug my PC and bring it in - I can sit back and watch TV or go for a hike while some James Bond wannabe (they call themselves Agents) fixes whatever Bill Gates/Steve Jobs inspired nightmare I've found myself in. Well worth the money.
