And what harm does it cause to anyone not so guilible they believe a pfp is a person?

I have seen 100s of guys putting up girly pfp to gain views and members.

And what harm does it cause?

it reduces the value of chess clubs which really deserve more members.

What do you mean ? You think there's nothing wrong in dumb puppie , doggy and girly clubs getting 10 times the members , than a club that has strong titled players and high rated players working hard day and night ?

I would never, ever join a club for a girl's pfp, nor any pfp for the matter.

You would not but others would.

Exactly these things are really happening.

If it's wrong or right, what does it change to my life? Or yours?

Not to mention, your chances to stop it all are close to zero.

It wouldnt be zero if females here were not hypocrites

It's a thing, that is very close in spirit, to some Colby's thread and club, meant to "purify" if the Earth or the forum. It's ill guided and minded, and can only generate more misery than happiness, joy or peace.

7 days to chess.com you have more things to see

Avatar of Born2slaYer

@MelvinGarvey you are in not in any club you do not have any idea about the club community.

Kiddo, don't ever assume one is here "7 days" when closing accounts and opening new accounts is so common a thing.

Kiddo you still do not know anything what is happening in the club community.

It does not seems like you have any idea

Don't be so unsmart. Can't you figure out I've been in clubs in the past?

It still seems you do have not seen the people mentioned in third category.

Avatar of Born2slaYer

In past I had been part of 382 clubs I just somehow quitted many of them.

You may share you opinion my friend. I am just telling the reality.

But no, you're telling your feelings about a reality that cares not about you or me.

Nope friend I will send 100s of usernames to you that still do this thing

One reason I don't join clubs anymore, is that it's a tyrany within a tyrany. One has to bow to them Tos, then, to some super admin caprices on top of it all. Thanks but no thanks.

I will consider you lucky if you have not joined any clubs.

Avatar of Anonymous_Dragon

Not many  clubs force you to bow down to the Tos. Even if they do , they are nothing different from the general chess.com rules. Avoid swearing , be nice etc etc. So theres nothing wrong

Anyway, you guys can wave your arms in all directions, and yell to the wind all your feelings, these clubs, with or without girl's pfp will continue. It's a part of the thing Chess.com judges a good commercial feature that attract more potential pay members, etc.

Yeah. Prefer your commercial interests , and dont care about morality at all.

Actually, many virtues that'd help having a real "community" on here, in this forum, would go against the ToS, when the ToS wants most people feel comfortable, not judged and so on, when they take a peek at the forum.

Your plan is to be exclusive of most members in some way, when most members care little, if at all, about anything such as a "community".

And let's not forget, hey, we are here to play chess, not for reforming the world.

if you are here to play chess then what are you doing on a forum mate ?

It's nothing like mine, it's theirs. i'm only reminding you. A crusade for morality, that'd go in the way of commercial profit, is doomed to fail. Not to mention, most people don't want too much morality in a place like a chess website where you can play anonymously and post in forums and clubs all the same...

just a minute ago you said you are here to play chess

My commercial interrests?

Not yours. I meant the site. I can understand companies have their commercial interests and will sometimes ignore the wrong things for their benefit. But this is way too much. The site must have something in place to keep a check on these people .

Are you trying to tell, us, that since you're in the forum, you're not playing chess, like at all or ever?

Yup I am informing you as you yourself said that you are here to play chess.
