Well, I don't know much, but...
1.Don't move a pawn unless you have a reason to do it.
2. Try to gain control of the center with your d and e pawns.
3. Having a double pawn (two pawns on the same file) is bad. They can't protect each other.

Remember, pawn moves are irreversible! Don't make pawn moves that you will regret.
