Perception

 So how does it happen? How does perception change at the core? Is there a mechanism at work, or does it happen randomly, by chance?

 Certainly not. It cannot be by chance.

 If it's not by chance, how does it work? We must first say that this is extremely rare: we are not talking about various superficial changes, which at the core leave one absolutely the same.

  This is a matter of life and death, and so extremely rare among mortals.

.. One thing, I know.. Is that physically, 'knocking heads'.. If, one would possess, More empathy ; Is Not, really a 'Must watch' situation .. Which says something, about 'popularity' and 'ratings'!

.. Geo-politically.. perhaps there's a tie-in, between those who 'swear' by the efficacy, of 'brute strength'.. And, hitting 'Syria' let's say, with 'tomahawk' missles !? ] ;

  So how is one to deal with this momentum of the past? Can he deal with it any way? He could, if there was another factor in himself, other than the past. But he understands such a factor is also a part of the momentum, so he understands there is no way to deal with it.

  However, he also understands that all his life he's been doing something about it, by default. So he begins to watch that 'factory mode' in operation, every single time he's trying to correct the momentum coming from the past.

  Then what happens next?

Perhaps, some will disagree.. But, whether it involves 'marriage'.. and or, an indefinite, long-term 'singlehood' .. Both, Love, for 'humanity' at- large, And, perhaps a {heterosexual}, marriage union .. Would seem to address the question.

Especially, and Primarily.. Possessing a 'brotherly' Love, for ones 'fellow man' {women too}; As the next, {if not 1st}, progression !

But enough, for typing words, and 'Theory'!

  One can never posses love. As for progress, it's an illusion.

Something, for the philosophically minded, to 'chew' on ! ..{see quote}. - Ergo .. St. Paul's, 'sea-change' transformation, from 'Saul'; And, much of it based, on a changed, time-progression, {other dimensional}, Perception !

The 'philosophical mind' is blind--it can't see anything. We are not talking of opinions and ideas, but about facts. And the facts are that 'tomorrow' is the 'yesterday'. I project tomorrow according to what the past already forces me to project. Hence, tomorrow is already decided by the billions of yesterdays, not just my yesterdays but all the previous generations' yesterdays.

  So the serious person rejects the 'yesterday' and also the 'tomorrow'. Therefore hope dies altogether. That is the beginning of enlightenment.

I feel how fruitless any words of mine would be in this your time of unbearable grief.

I'm sure, that, had "Thomas Edison" and other like-minded inventors, were 'infected' with your peculiar strain of pessimism.. They arguably, would've been swayed, to go into another line-of-work; By the pronouncement of, a former, 'US' Patent Office, chief exec. - To, his then expressed thought, of .. "Everything, that can be invented; Has been invented." ..{of course, we'll never know, for certain}.

Pessimism? You are translating my words according to what you were taught: that to be without hope means to live for nothing, one might as well commit suicide.

 However, we are saying that hope is the beginning of bliss. The whole suffering of mankind is contained in this movement between the past and the 'future'. Outside this movement, there is but bliss.

  Same thing here: one translates words according to one's conditioning, which equates a lack of hope with grief.

   It's exactly the opposite: hope equates with grief.

  There is no grief on this end, so one cannot associate talking about a lack of hope with grief. We are not talking from grief, that would be meaningless.

  And we were touching on the subject of 'no hope'.
