I would reply without a thought, onion rings for me!

and when I take my first large bite, my tastebuds start to sing.

These onions hid in crispy crumbs are here for me and you.

When I get hold of one of these, I have the ring of power!

and when I bring it to my mouth, the people round me cower!

I stuff the morsel through my hatch and feel the warm delight,

of the crispy crunchy ringed fried food that gives my life some light.

But, alas words can’t describe they taste and crumbly feel,
