I wasn't certain where to put this. It doesn't seem appropriate in any other forum.

This thread got me thinking. Perhaps you're interested in a wager.

You can see my rating. I'm obviously not very good. I mostly come here... I don't actually know why I come here.

That said, I'll bet you that I could play ten games of people rated twice as high as me or higher and win at least half of them without cheating in any way, shape or form. I'd play half the games as black, and half the games as white. I do get to use a chess pad and standard chess notation though.

I could do it without cheating. Easily.

I'm not that good at chess, but I'm willing to bet I'm smarter than you.

I can do it while playing all 10 games at once.

And yeah, I can do it live with wooden pieces and wooden boards too. Face-to-face, no electronics of any kind.

Completely based on my own brain-power, because at the end of the day I may not be good at chess, but I'm smarter than you.

To bet with you that you can beat even me? I don't believe you that you wouldn't use some kind of ,,artificial inteligence'' and it is obvious that we can't play OTB game. And to bet in what? A kiss?

I said I'd win at least half the games. If you wanted to be in one of them, you could. I'd also bet I'd win that one as well.

I wouldnt mind a game, not interested in any bets though. I dont even see what could be wagered here..

You're only rated 2k. I'm rated 1600, but I've only played three games and never lost.

I'll tell you what. Instead of doing ten games, let's do two.

You be one opponent, and you can pick the other opponent. One game as white, one game as black. I won't cheat and I won't use any devices of any kind aside from a notepad and pencil with standard chess notation.

I bet I win at least half of the two games (draw both, win at least one, or win both).

If I win the bet, you buy me a year's membership.

ketamine, anyone with a brain could do what you propose, I could win at least half the games even if I had one game with Kasparov, and the other with Kramnik

 Sorry, I still don't believe you that you will play honestly and without cheathing. I can't see any of your 3 games. If I can see them i would know how strong you are. Only OTB match.

I can prove that I did it honestly after we're done by the way. Go get Erik or another mod or something. They can arbitrate.
