Practically every other off topic thing has a "no politics" ban. So why not? (You can throw in religion too, why not)

It is, but most forums tend to have rules or prefer to not step into the realms of politics and religion
I agree, guns shouldn't be banned. They have been statistically proven to save more people than they kill. Plus, there is really no difference between larger and smaller guns. A pistol can kill you just the same as an AK-47. Just saying. So limiting a few guns wont work. Not to mention that limiting guns in general wont work. All the companies have to do is tweak a part to a banned gun and call it something new and it would be allowed. Kind of like Congress, and how they can pass the same bill in a different form when the President vetoes it.
