Bc like mods don’t know; also, I don’t think this is a good argument for the existence of God. All it confirms is a coincidence that includes the Bible. I’m a Christian, but this is still merely a coincidence. Change the base number and it all goes away
Snoozyman #109, while most of that sentence was correct, the part that fell apart is when you said that God rewards you when good, and punishes when bad. Actually, it is often the opposite. Sure, we Christian’s are no longer fed to lions or burned at the stake, but we still get persecuted in little ways, like people calling us weirdos, freaks, or using this forum as an example, calling us brainwashed.
The bible tells us outright that as Christian’s and followers of God, we will still face hardships, because God wants to test our faith through hardships and refine us through them, and because our world still is broken. So no, God does NOT reward us when we are good and punish when bad. If we are the nicest, kindest people on earth, but we don’t believe in him, we get nothing from God. God will eventually punish not just the people who have hardened themselves to him, but also the undecided, if they had a chance that they didn’t take. So God is far more complex than the statement you made earlier suggests.
