This is important news that I never thought I would have to give. Unironically trying to date random users who you only know on chess.com is only asking for trouble. There was a user recently banned for catfishing and asking for pictures from other users. You have no idea who is on the other side of the screen. In fact, you have no idea who I am (and I want to keep it that way).

It's very weird when you try to non-jokingly create romantic relationships with random users as teens or in some cases even preteens.

A major club on chess.com I know broke up this way, two totally random teenagers on chess.com began dating, broke up (who would have thought?) and the drama tore up a discord server and still goes on months later (part of why I mostly left).
