what is Psa?
Prostate Specific Antigen test...

You are not dead but you need an immediate biopsy..and if confirmed cancer..you need to act Dont wait a minute longer that is very high.
Remember psa is just an indicator doesnt mean you have cancer .. for that you will need a biopsy to confirm ..a quick out-patient procecure
if the biopsy confirms cancer then you will need to either have radiation or surgery..take the surgery and get it over with . Get rid of that cancer asap..
Been there.. done this..had cancer diagnosis.had surgery..and all with NO side effects and no further cancer detected..its been five years.. Just dont wait to take action!
Good luck!
Could be worse. Thought I'd have to wait until I saw the urologist to get the MRI report, but my primary called today. Three areas of concern that will need to be biopsied, but no adjacent lymph node swelling. One area in my spine that could just be arthritis, but we need a bone scan to rule out metastatic cancer. I'm officially an old person; my life now revolves around doctor appointments and procedures...LOL.
Yes I know I should be asking my urologist this, and plan to at our appointment in 10 days, but I thought I'd share a little gallows humor with you guys. For those asking Where The Fish, 4 is a normal score, but the aging male can easily have scores of 6 or 8. 10 or 12 begins to be a little worrisome. We all love to post our highest scores here, so I was just wondering if anyone can top 55?
Why yes I did already have an MRI and it was as unpleasant as you might imagine...
