"First!"

Ever wonder why some people just feel compelled to post "First" everywhere they go?

And now we know :]

I asked Chess.com if posting first meant that they won.  They said....

"No, solving the daily puzzle doesn't show who won first.

Members like to post their "First" comment there as more competition, to say "hey i saw it first and i solved it first".

There is no proof what so ever that they even tried the puzzle, they may have just posted.

The puzzle doesn't have to be solved in order to post comments on that forum thread.

To some, posting "first" is fun, to others, its annoying as its not actually discussing the moves or the puzzle.
