R.I.P Itude got muted for 6 months.

Just because I don't like the guy, doesn't mean I can't tell you what happened. 

Why are you excited?

I will admit, I like Itude. Always enjoy seeing him on the forums, but I saw the threads that this guy is talking about. I didn’t read the full threads, so I’m not sure how bad they were, but he did insult mods and did make a thread about “cowards” making fun of him. I think he was angry about mutes and not being able to argue back with people and made an irrational decision. He’s not making them up, he might be exaggerating, I’m not sure since I haven’t read them fully and now can’t, but they definitely existed. He made a mistake but I still like Itude and hope he gets unmuted. Others may not like him and that’s fine, I completely understand and respect their opinions. But I personally do hope he comes back.

The guy gifted a few memberships. Thought it “put him above” regular members in that any and all behavior on his part was to be excused demanding apologies from Erik on down to you and I. As a long standing mod and someone who’s gifted 100’s of memberships has recently found out- $ generosity does not ensure ever lasting acceptance. 

Jeffrey Dahmer was nice to people. He had a lot of them over for dinner.

Itude is a controversial figure here. Some like him and some don't. Personally, I like him but I can see his combative qualities, as well. However, when muted he can't defend himself and I find some of the gleeful celebratory posts here and in the other Itude thread rather distasteful. Also, some posts are inaccurate. Itude didn't start his own fan club. A friend started that club in appreciation of Itude. Itude had posted a forum topic that he appreciated the gesture but he wanted to change the club name and direction.

Itude could be kind, helpful and generous and that is the side of him I saw most often. He gifted more than a few memberships. He had gifted 9300 days worth when I checked just now. He played instructional games with lower rated players and tended to be his more patient and nice self to the kids on the site.

So, that's my two cents for what it is worth. I won't be responding to argumentative or ugly comments as I don't wish to get aggravated and I doubt what I would have to say would change the minds of those set in their opinions. Hopefully, Itude will change his mind and return to speak for himself in the not too distant future.

He reminds me a lot of my old man, damn. Even a profile pic he had once. So to hell with me if I know what to say!

Ya think itude when he soon returns cares about “defending himself”? Naw... he’ll be demanding an apology from everyone on staff. 
What to defend? Actions and words speak themselves. Everyone knows when it comes to enforcing mute policies CC is extremely forgiving- itude’s been muted near a dozen times yet remains the same - not about to apologize for  nor defend his behavior. Some of you might think twice if you were on the receiving end of one of itude’s irrational and abusive personal attacks. 

Been there. I'm actually used to the childish outbursts by now.

I mean he's been picking fights with me for about a decade. He commonly comes into threads where I've posted and starts going after me with petty insults. He acts like a mentally disturbed toddler and I'm pretty used to it by now. I usually just duck out of threads when he shows up.

Just stay tuned to see what he does when he's finally unmuted. Just watch and see how he comes after me with extra stupid vitriol.

He's closed his account so he'll be back in a different, slithery form to get his revenge.

All very true. He loved his “fights”. Always in the right. Amazing ain’t it? How some turn a blind eye to things they refuse to see. He’d show up in threads exclusively to rant against fellow members, never on topic.  Ya get used to observing the same ole same ole.   Seems CC had enough after the latest two threads calling Staff worms and liars - making open threats of legal actions.

Makes sense to be honest, he is NOT here for chess. He is here for drama and since he is muted it's not like he will will play and so on. Him closing his account is also his way of pretending he has control over the situation and as if something is his decision. He got booted like a loser.

I don’t know him that much, but he did put a smile on my face sometimes. I will miss him. .

I would like to think that he is laying in his chair with a bowl of mushy peas... smiling... while he read all these comments.

He would love every one discussing about his behavior.

 

Also I would like to think he is an actual cat for some reason. Idk why but it amuses me.

Can’t be bad to everyone ... too much trouble. Just like trying to be nice to everyone.
