Outside the shop where Kiki has taken shelter, the Waterlogged were scouting, rats scurrying, identifying the perimeter, possible exit points, entryways, possible ambush sites and the like. Outside, assault forms and spore carriers were waiting for the cue to strike.

if we can get there, I have this place called crunch labs, it’s a warehouse so we’d have room to avoid the rain, and as a bonus, we definitely won’t get bored, there’s a lot to do there.

“But why would we move there? We have enough space here. Our main concern is food, Marc.”

for one, if a rock hits a window or anything like that we will lose the ability to go in that room. There’s no windows for rocks to hit in the lab. 

The cue is given, and the Waterlogged spring into action. Multiple assault forms, humans corpses kept up with biologic growths growing out of every orifice, enhanced to the best of the Waterlogged's ability, surround the building, while spore carriers in the back produce more spores.

“Why would anything hit a window? There’s no one out there to throw them. And anyways, the windows are quite resilient.”
