"Red is sus" how did it start?

DEFINITIVE PHRASE ETYMOLOGY: "RED IS SUS"
written by yours truly.
A mobile game named Among Us, Where crewmates work together to do tasks on a spaceship and vote off imposters, who try to kill all the crewmates. These crewmates all had a different coloured suit. When you're acting suspicious, similar to an Imposter attempting to kill, during the voting period, people will call you out. However, since there was a timer on the voting period, suspicious was shortened to "sus" to save time. When a crewmate with a red coloured suit was acting similar to an imposter, the phrase "red is sus" was born.

I mainly created this to see what random theories people could come up with because I'm bored
Ah, okay. My apologies, but I guess there ya go. I'm pretty proud of the formatting, though.

yeah I was impressed

The issue is, there is no change to the suit colour after killing. No blood is visible. Rather, it was the actions that Red was doing, that caused the original quote writer to believe so.
