down place is a large and deep sprawling pool. during the height of winter, sometimes, it gets slow enough for ice to form. after a ffew weeks assuming brtual cold air- people will venture out, ice fish and pull out really big walleyes and pike.
but they are Nuts! no way would I fish on the ice on a flowing river!!
anyways. I've been known to fish the shore and do some wading in the general area. its all good.

the new texas crude is some of the lightest crude in the world. refiners all across North America are struggling to process it.
Most experts just a few years ago were expecting crude to go the opposite way with much heavier sour crude.

More gasoline, less diesel, and less heavy hydrocarbons. also light as in less sulfur which is a major pollutant in fuels.
IOW "light" stuff means more good stuff- but a refinery set up a little differently.
The great- looks like a great place to catch dinner, downstream from the plant.
