Response to being banned

Thanks so much for reaching out! After doing some research, it looks like the creator of that forum (do not name and shame), has added you to their 'blocked' list.
Once blocked, a member cannot do any of the following:

• post notes to your account
• send you messages
• accept your game seeks
• be auto-matched with you in open seeks
• join tournaments that you are running
• post in content that you created

Since the creator of that thread blocked you, unfortunately you're unable to comment in that forum. :/

You could of course create your own forum too! This will allow you to post your thoughts, and hopefully others will engage with you on your forum topic!

Sorry about that, but the good news is that your account has no restrictions on it, and Chess.com hasn't banned or muted you. The creator of the fourm simply blocked you :/

You weren't banned. You were blocked.

"Banned" is something the forum staff (Mods, Admins, etc) does.

"Blocked" is something any member can do, within his own threads.
