So in Indonesia we are required to be scouts and scouts are the most stupid activity in school why? Just imagine, when we get home we have to stand from noon until evening under the sun and in scouts we are taught to be disciplined but at home, school, kindergarten we are taught to be disciplined and if you wear the wrong socks or don't bring other items the punishment is 1000 or 100 push ups or squad jumps.. so that's it

If you're talking about boy scouts... Yeah, I think it's useless. Just making a team, their motto, and barely learning the actual subject. The punishment here is also unequal. The boys suffer from their indiscipline meanwhile the girls enjoy themselves not wearing the correct belt(they wore the black one. It's supposed to be brown) and not bringing a hat.

not in my school.. boy or girl have the same punishment here. well maybe the girls have to do like 5 pushups while the boys have to do 10 pushups but the inequality is not that much.
