Tbh this is normal on chess.com and I get at least 5 new guys dming me per day don’t engage in a conversation with them if they seem normal just be very dry but if they have weird interactions with you or a weird username block them

When I mean normal I mean it can get weird very very fast people have sent me pictures unwarned sent very uncanny threats spreaded lies about me etc so it’s best just to shut it down before it reaches that point and to only talk to people you meet through others
