Lauren Spencer Smith, in a video above, has made it into the top 20 in American Idol but the contest is on pause because of Covid-19. Apparently she is staying busy with her music meanwhile. Remains to be seen if she can win it, some of the others are quite good too. 

  Usually the're ALL quite good, if you made it to THAT level. 

 Are they better than her, that was my point. Only a few might overtake her in my opinion. 

Usually, is correct, I've watched every American Idol season since it began, there have been a few seasons in which some in the top 20 were not all that good to me even though they were better than others who were eliminated. Some seasons have been significantly stronger than other seasons.
