If you mean shiny pokemon, they are rare (Usually a 0.02% chance per pokemon), different colored versions of pokemon. For example, a shiny Pikachu would be a darker shade of yellow (Although shinies are usually different colorations and not color tone changes). These pokemon are often sought after by members of the pokemon community as it marks a record of accomplishment.
