Signal

I take the freeway daily, and everyday I see a driver that's in and out of lanes and not signalling. If you're one of those drivers, please help me to understand your thinking. I think signalling is stupid when you're in a left only turning lane like people do sometimes, but on the freeway at high speeds, just to be extra safe and all, why wouldn't you at least let your fellow drivers know your intentions? 

I'm not one of the drivers, but if someone is weaving, than they are trying to get places and already do not care about safety. Plus, it is inconvenient. (It is even more inconvenient if they get into a crash, but tell that to them...)

I just think it's something that should be done automatically and without thought, like stopping at a stop sign. I don't think I've ever felt inconvenience while signalling, It's just ingrained in my muscle memory to do so. 

It should be, but alas... the world isn't perfect...
