Speaking of impossible, if the pressure tank is pressurized how would air be physically able to enter? Most tanks are designed for 50psi. Normal ambient air pressure is 15psi at sea level and lower at higher elevations. I assume by exit valve you mean the valve feeding water to your house. If there were air in those pipes at more than 50psi it would blow water all over you when you open a faucet.
I don't know how. I'm not a plumber. I don't know how air is moving backwards against the flow of water. Neither do they. Yes, it's about 50psi. Yes, it's the valve feeding water to the house.
The water is cloudy sometimes, but let it settle for a minute and it clears up. It's the air in the water that's making it cloudy. And sometimes air (and water) blasts out of the spigot. Very annoying.
They just say that it might be possible for that to happen if there is a leak somewhere, but nobody can find any leak. Because air has to be coming in somehow, and then, somehow, going backwards back into the tank. I'm assuming if air is coming in, then water must be coming out of this supposed leak. But maybe it's possible to have a water pipe under pressure than only sucks air in. I don't know, that's not a problem I can figure out. It just gets impossibler by the day.
What I can figure out how to do is water the garden and then enjoy the afternoon at the golf course. Which is seeming like a good idea right about now.

I'm listening to a radio discussion of the the Lucy Letby tragedy of the infanticide at the Countess of Cheshire Hospital. One of my wife's students babies was murdered and the other attacked and survived. The management had been informed that there were grave suspicions regarding the nurse. The management must be prosecuted. My wife agrees with me that the management should be in prison.

Your description makes me thing your well pump has tapped into a mysterious pressurized underground source of air. Perhaps Rod Serling could help

I don't have any respect for this site any more, because they allow people like you two to infest the place.
Seriously, what a poor take?
i dont trust this site because the banned my first account because someone quoted me falsely.
The culprit is still here btw
Misunderstandings, happened to a few others here.
You are back after all
The person who missqouted me did defently not missunderstand, He did it out of malice because i called out is fraudelence
Moderators do not mute or ban people based on quotes in reports. They look up the posts themselves. There sure seem to be plenty of people that have conjured up persecution complexes around here to avoid scrutinizing their own behavior.

Good pics, but I'm more going this way

Thanks to the air in my city being deemed hazardous, I went to the Y to walk on the treadmill instead of my usual morning jaunt in the neighborhood. There were more than 200 children there because a YMCA Camp was evacuated as a wildfire raged a few miles east of it. That fire is north of my city. The other wildfire that broke out yesterday west of my city is the likely cause of the ash covering my vehicle this morning.
While walking on the treadmill, I listened to a couple of YouTube videos. The first offered explanations for the possible occurrence of the impossible, and might help the plumbers attempting to solve the problems @IfPatriotGames is dealing with.

The other also addresses some of her unresolved issues and I highly recommend.
I've also thought for years that information can travel faster than light. However, the first video isn't about plumbing.
Her plumbers said the impossible was happening. A bit of imagination and this video will help.
Iβm reminded of a college roommate struggling with a problem in engineering using advanced calculus way beyond my understanding. He was working on his MS in Civil Engineering; I was a sophomore studying history. I told him to try the back door. Turned out thatβs what he needed to do.
There is probably a helpful video out there somewhere. Obviously what's happening isn't impossible, because it's happening. His point is that nobody he knows has seen it before and they can't figure it out. There are all sorts of videos on why a pressure tank gets too much water, usually waterlogging from air eventually diminishing. But we have the opposite problem, too much air coming in.
So a video on air flow or water flow or water hydraulics causing air increases or something like that could help. Fester posted something about a pressure switch, which didn't turn out to be the problem but was definitely relevant. I don't think a plumber is going to find any benefit in a video about time travel.
Some people can find inspiration from ideas that come from other domains of problem solving. Many cannot. Do not underestimate your plumber. He might not be trapped in the same linear processing trap that holds you back.

This site is ignoring the norm that a blocking feature should be provided so that all who need to protect themselves from a stalker may be blocked. This site doesn't have a blocking feature. Since you pursue people around the site and send them derogatory and insulting messages as a matter of course, rationalising that they "need to be corrected", you are actually a stalker. What you are doing is illegal and it's questionable that Chess.com is obeying the law in allowing you to attack and generally persecute people. The same goes for the other trolls but they take their lead from you.
It's gone on long enough and it needs to stop now.

The nurse Letby trial in the UK has highlighted the fact that the persecution of whistle-blowers can no longer be tolerated. In cases where moderators don't act and the anti-social situation continues, it becomes natural to take whatever action is appropriate, to stop people stalking and persecuting others online.

Facetious and derogatory attacks on whistle-blowers, even if the intention is that others should consider them "joking and not malicious" are in fact malicious and support a generally toxic atmosphere on an internet site, as prevails here because moderators fail to stop you persecuting and stalking others. Chess.com is probably acting against the law and should change its attitude to online stalking, which should no longer be tolerated. The best way forward is the provision of a blocking function.
I keep foolishly thinking this thread would slow down soon
