Race IS a social construction but that doesn't prevent it being also genetic and cultural heritage. Normally, social constructions are interpretations of real things and not of fantasies.

Except for Diogenes, perhaps. Everything in that neck of the woods is based on his fantasies.

No, no--you are confused. The sun isn't "coming up", the horizon is moving down.

Or maybe, because they employ lawyers, facts still prevail in their world.

As a historian, do you know where the terms left and right came from? Not French or Russian, but American left and right?

I heard the term left originally meant "opposite of right". Other origins have it as "weak, foolish, crooked, twisted, and considered suspicious" . Doesn't the word sinister have it's root in the word left?

Only in left-handedness. I think the origins of left/right in politics is from where some seating was in a council chamber.

Race is genetic, what did you mean there?

Cultural heritage can be independent from race because it's regional.

Much of society is a fantasy, like money is when it's not backed by anything. We chose to perpetuate the various fantasies of society.

Interestingly enough I’m on a tropical vacation at the moment on the “twin” island (Tobago) of my parents’ motherland, Trinidad. Brilliant sunsets there are here, and the water is crystal clear. Lovely place.

Race describes physical characteristics. Physical characteristics are a result of genetics. So while race is not a real biological segregation of humans, it describes physical differences. Since people were less likely to “mix” with other people in the past it led to generations upon generations of people who all have the same “look”, albeit only 2-3 features often lead people to assume a race.

Agreed.

That's why racism is wrong in all sense of the word, and I think economic division is going to be the next big segregation to play out. Some may try to hide that segregation by playing a racism card, because people will say "Racists!" and miss the real issues of economic. That's why I think CRT is flawed, it shows the economic division and ties it to race, is my understanding. Unless CRT actually says, that is not racism, instead proves it as an economic one.

Just stop trolling. You have clearly shown that you are an unintelligent person, who is also bigoted and dishonest. There is zero chance you could recognise anything remotely clever.

Stop trolling.

Sinister comes from Latin, and means simply "left". How did it become a word that meant "evil"? Because ignorant people who believe in things like witchcraft gave the word that connotation during the Dark Ages. They were superstitious, believed conspiracy theories, and took common words and phrases and contorted them into something negative, because they were bitter and afraid of the world around them...sound familiar? It describes a number of people on this thread.

The notion that "right" actually meant "correct" is laughable.
