I think the guitar solo on you really got me ,may have made legendary DJ John Peels worst guitar solos list but a great bash none the less The Kinks two frontmen were brothers and like Oasis were always at each others throats ,Ray the lead singer introduced his brother as Mr Tears of a Clown Davies live on stage ,mocking his bros solo released single ,To which his bro rushed across the stage and decked Ray on the spot ,lol

In the 60's and I suppose even today to a lesser degree musical censorship still abounds ,the next Kinks track features a young mans encounter with a transsexual male,The censors forbade the line coca-cola and it was promptly changed to cherry cola ,They ,the censors were completely unaware of the adult content ,lol anyway here it is

On the subject of bad guitar solos ,when Hendrix died ,there were a rash of tributes to the electric guitar hero,Some were vocal ,others were covers of his songs ,One epic renditition was by The Purple Fox ,a complete idiot or nutter that some terribly bad record label through out to make a quick ,undesereved buck ,His version of Purple Haze made John Peels worst guitar solos ,unfortunately or fortuneately depending on your point of view ,mine favours the latter,Purple Haze by The Purple Fox isn't available on You Tube ,But the classic Hendrix Fire is and if you've and extra strong constitution and are familiar with the original Hendrix version ,listen to this garbage ,I warn you in advance this will either have you rofl or deficating ,
