Being blunt about it the subject of a stroke is no joking matter.I have known of cases where

the consequences of a stroke can be catastrophic for the victim. In one case the person concerned

became totally paralysed  on the left hand side of the body .Now virtually helpless and confined to bed and able to do nothing basic e.g eating and drinking without assistance. The individual is now on "palliative care" with little time to go.So maybe we should all ponder a bit rather than making light of the topic.Who knows what the fates have in store for any of us?

Hi everyone, I support adults with a disability. Ranging from MS, MD, to acquired brain injury resulting in a stroke.
