Super Bowl 3 summary

After two Super Bowls, the AFL decided to have another team in the Super Bowl. Modern day now, it's the champion of the NFC and the champion of the AFC to face in a Super Bowl. Not this time in the AFL, not this time. The New York Jets, whom had Joe Namath and Don Maynard, were facing the heavily favored 15-1 Colts. With Johnny Unitas and John Mackey, they seemed unstoppable. Three days before the game, Joe Namath said in Miami "Were going to win. I guarantee it.". Well Broadway Joe, you're right. With Unitas throwing four interceptions, the Jets won 16-7. One of the greatest upsets in sports history, Joe Namath won Super Bowl MVP.

I was a Colts fan and I was crushed. I still hate the fucking Jets.

Nothing personal against Namath though.  He was just doing his job.
