Super Smash Bros. Series: Who is your favorite/"main" character?

As someone who plays Game & Watch a lot in off-hand games (I don't main him though), I can confirm that he can be very fun to use  

Not only Judgement, but also spiking from down air (key) and many other crazy combos xD

Yeah Game and Watch is really fun. I actually really like fighting him, I don't understand the hate he gets.

Check the video on page 7 of this forum I posted earlier (about post #131). Yeah Game & Watch can be really fun  I don't think he is as hated as other characters though (Cloud comes to mind: there are too many Cloud players lol)

I personally HATE Cloud. But Game and Watch is actually one of the most hated characters in Smash. The only one I can think of who is more hated is Sonic.

But yeah, Cloud is my least favorite character to fight.

My brother actually mains Sonic in competitive play, but he actually uses him fairly. (Just good skill and combos - none of that camping or other "hate" stuff some meta Sonic players use). xD

I main Yoshi. I don't understand the hate he gets at all, he's annoying to fight but that's about it. He's really easy to beat if you know the matchup. Also hardly anyone plays him.

lol - I use Yoshi a lot too. I love the super armor on his head for many attacks

Wolf is a cool character too. I don't see that many Wolf players, but he can be deadly when used correctly. xD

yeah i just find him cool and i like his playstyle unlike the other characters

Good choice. Another option might be a sunflower field like in the anime title sequence for the first season (Sunflowers in Japan is a symbol of Justice, hence why it appears in there), or perhaps another cool stage idea would be The Berry Big Circus tent from that case - in fact lots of cases locations could make awesome stages. The bridge where Dalia Hawthorn supposedly fell from, The Space Center from the Apollo Justice case with Yuri Cosmos, or even the Detention Center from the many games might make an interesting stage.

Yeah, there are a lot of awesome stages that could be used. The anime wouldn't work since it has to come from a game. The Berry Big Circus Tent is Turnabout Big Top, so we can't really have that, Dusky bridge could be a good stage, but it wouldn't be too different from Bridge of Eldin, with it being a bridge that would get destroyed by lighting and then rebuilt by Gumshoe at probably the same pace as the Villagers final smash. It could work and be cool, but it's too similar. The detention center wouldn't really be a good stage in my opinion since it's too sad for a Smash stage, again in my opinion. The Space Center would be awesome, with the whole switching rooms thing, but you can't really do too much with it without spoiling Dual Destinies. We could have a transforming stage where you have Kurain Village in the investigation part, with some Ace Attorney characters in the background, and then it can switch to the trial, in which you will have the Judge, Edgeworth, Gumshoe, and Apollo (since Phoenix will be fighting) and then you here ticking in the background and everyone evacuates. Maybe they can even run on the stage itself, making it harder to fight. Then an explosion happens and the court is destroyed. Some parts of the stage will be more dangerous to step on then before. What do you think of my pitch?

Cool. I like the idea of the courtroom explosion too. Maybe there could be the Courtroom before and then a "ruined" courtroom after similar to Brinstar splitting in Melee? Also cool idea with Kurain Village; yes I didn't think of that one. Hazakura Temple has the same kind of feel too.

Yeah, but Kurain Village is more iconic. Plus, it was in Spirit of Justice, so it's both Classic and Modern Ace Attorney. I'm thinking it could be a bit like Garrag Mach Monastery in how it transforms. In terms of potential background characters, I think we could have Pearl, Larry, Lotta, The Steel Samurai, Ema, Blackquill (since he has to go somewhere, and Edgeworth is in the court), Trucy, and Athena. If he wants, he can have some characters specific to music like in King Of Fighters Stadium. If anyone can pull this stage idea off, it's Sakurai, so I'm hoping he goes with something similar to this, since this is what I envision to be the best way to convey Ace Attorney into Smash
