I had to look "indian tacos" up. I've never had that but it looks delish!
I have however made the taco shell with a flour tortilla. I would make a shell shape with the flour tortilla, then put it in a pan full of hot HOT oil. It would fry into a golden brown shape and stay that way. crispy outer shell, soft inner shell. That's about as close as I can see with the indian taco. mmmmmmmmmmmm delish.
p.s. If you try this, I suggest you take a knife and make some slits in the tortilla after you form the shell but before you put in the pan. If you don't, the tortilla will expand like a balloon!
