Hmmm, The Big Lebowski's conspicuously absent from that list and Dr. Strangelove is ranked far too low.

Did you really find Barton Fink to be the superior Coen Brothers comedy?

Also, thanks for mentioning "The Big Lebowski" which deserves to be on the list of best comedies, for sure. And "Dr. Strangelove" can only be bested by "The Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie"!

Oh, easily The Big Lebowski -- all of their work is fantastic though.

I've not seen The Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie (nor have I seen the film).  I'll have to check it out. 

Definitely...Python and Starship Troopers.

I'd put Army of Darkness on my list...although based on a true story, it's still funny.

Also, Desperato is so over the top violent, it's funny.

You may look askance but I'd put Airplane! and Princess Bride on my list.

As Coen brothers' comedies go, Raising Arizona's also very funny.
