it was a real journey tbh from weening myself off of ssris as soon as i turned 18 to getting into coping behavioral therapy -> buddhism meditation / breath work methods of healing mental illness then it was a straight jump into high ceremonial magick and western occult, hence the tarot:p

My first Tarot journey all started at an old Barnes & Noble bookstore near my house back in March 2008. I went to the Divination section and there was a Tarot book. I read it & it's intriguing to me. I bought my first Tarot Deck called the Cabot Tarot Deck. My very first tarot reading was a Super Bowl tarot reading. I asked the Tarot if the New England Patriots would win the Super Bowl. (I was a New York Giants fan back then & the New England Patriots were undefeated at the time. The first card was the Ace of Cups Reversed, which means that the New England Patriots are going to lose & there will be unhappiness. I thought the reading was nonsense. So I went to the Super Bowl party & I was watching the game. I couldn't believe that the New York Giants were winning and they officially won the Super Bowl. The New England Patriots were very unhappy even Tom Brady's reaction was priceless. He was like "What the heck just happened?!" I was laughing my butt off. So my reading was accurate & that's how my Tarot journey began. 🥰
