The "Aggressive King" strategy

So my friend introduced me to the stupid idea of using my king in the most reckless and illogical manner.
The idea is to use your king as if it was like any other disposable piece, but of course it's still the king so you can't do that.
I'm just wondering if anyone can give me tips or ideas to make this possibly work.

Its just a joke among chess players that 1.e4 e5 2.Ke2 is brilliant. If you play it you are kind of disrespecting your opponent, especially in a rated game.
Noted, but I'm still curious if it's possible to make a viable play from it

once most of the pieces get traded off you should quickly bring your king to the center to target weak enemy pawns for destruction & help escort and queen your own pawns. 🙂
the king has a fighting strength of about 4 points (stronger than a knight or bishop), so you can also use an aggressive king to attack minor pieces or shoulder the opposing king away from key squares.
Ooooh, I didn't think about that. I actually like how that sounds.

just make sure it's safe enough first or you'll most likely get decapitated. 🙂
