Thanks for the posts.

Bit of a shock for those of us who tend to forget that time keeps rolling along: " The Boss " Bruce Springsteen " is 65 today.

Seems like just yesterday he was only 64.

Thanks for the new posts.

Varelse 1: I wonder if he likes the line from a certain Beatles song " Will you still love me when I'm 64 ".

Thanks for the new posts.

In this thread we have brought up the subject of Folk-music before. One act that started here in Canada before they went to the US was Ian and Sylvia. This week Ian Tyson reached his 81st birthday. His voice is not what it once was but he still does the odd show here and there.

Interesting...Ian Tyson's birthday was 9/25, while Sylvia's birthday was 9/19.  They were very enjoyable to listen to.

--- Thanks for the info Javan64. After they moved back to Canada Ian and Sylvia had their own music show on TV up here. Then after they split up Ian moved to Alberta and took up ranching  (and kept on singing as well ).

Funny story I heard.

Billy Idol wrote and recorded White Wedding predicting the failure of his actual sister's upcoming marraige.

Last I heard, her marraige was still alive and well. While he had since been married and divorced.

When Linda Ronstadt was dating Jerry Brown many long years ago, she was known as the "First Girlfriend."

Just found out that Thomas Dolby is now acard-carrying member of the International Flat-Earth Society.

I guess he was "Blinded with Science," literally.

Which makes me wonder, if Hillary Clinton, or another lady becomes President, what will her husband be known as?

First Gentleman?

The Who have announced that they will do a World-tour in 2015 to be billed as the 50-Year Legacy Tour ( Yep, 50 years since they came onto the scene ).
