the cheating problem is genuinely out of control

the cheating problem on this site, specifically in the 1800-2000+ range is crazy. every 1 out of 3 games I play is against a blatant cheater. say someone who has played 7 games won every single one with 98+ accuracy. even more are people who joined a month ago have a very repetitive win/loss ratio and play way above average, which is called soft cheating. basically when a decent player plays the game regularly and only uses an engine when they are in a critical situation and don't know what to do. it genuinely feels impossible to win. every other game feels like I'm playing against a cheater, sometimes even 3 games in a row. I don't think the community or even chess.com knows just how terrible 2000 rating range is.

I've lost 100 rating points in the last couple hours, at least half of which I can safely say were to cheaters

I cant say I've had the same experiences, and I've passed the 1800-2000 rating range

Thank God I'm around 300-600 elo

Its a cultural thing. Popular culture these days doesn't acknowledge "cheating". What used to be seen as cheating is today high skill known as "hacking". Times have indeed changed

Rooooook, the magnitude of order of cheating is orders of magnitudes lower than you think. Even Magnus Carlsen is Magnustudes lower than you think. That being said, discussions of c word is not allowed bc there’s nothing worse than a snitch
