i misspelled it on purpose brother
Emma’s unhappy. Her stepfather shouts at her for no reason, and her mom doesn’t even notice her. At school, she’s a different person. She’s pretty, privileged, and popular, and everyone loves her. They want to be her best friend. But one day a new student joins the class. Kate. She’s quiet. Shy. Nobody notices her at first. But she’s smart. Emma sees her getting much higher marks in class, and it’s a reminder that her grades aren’t going up and her electronics will be taken away, because no matter how hard she tries she CANT FOCUS. Kate’s mother comes to collect her every day. She hugs her daughter and asks how her day was. Emma has to walk 1 and a half hours to get home and microwave a frozen pizza. Emma’s jealous. So she tells Kate things. Things like she’s not popular and is ugly and has no friends and is just a sad nerdy girl with a coddling mother. Because it blocks her pain if she takes her anger out on someone else. But she doesn’t realize what it’s doing to Kate.
This is a part of an essay I’m writing. You have to tell a short story but it has to include the perspective of a “ Villain ”. This is the perspective of a bully, because bullies are sometimes the antagonists in movies or books. I’m doing Kate’s perspective next in Part 2.
Ps: This isn’t meant to say that bullying is ok to do. I’m trying to spread awareness about bullying and this is sometimes why people bully. Bullying is something nobody should do or have done to them.
