Now i don't know who this Lyudmil guy is nor do I know why he thinks 1. c4 is a good move, but I can only conclude that his goal by playing it is to try to bore his opponent into submission. We all know its a universal fact that no human being is capable of concentrating for more than 10 minutes over the boring positions arising from the English so the key to refuting it is to play blitz. Notice how in the 3 minute no increment game below, I was able to crush the English quickly before my interest completely disappeared.

I accept your challenge to play a two game match rychessmaster under one condition.
I would like to request we play 2 minute with 1 second increment because ever since I created my thread I’ve been getting a bunch of challenges by people rated hundreds of points below me who claim they don’t play the Sicilian but guarantee they will beat my Alapin anyways, and so sure enough I end up playing against stockfish. Now I see you’re a very strong player so I’m sure your challenge is on the up and up, but just to be sure I’d very much prefer we play at this fast time control.
