Out in space you can only do with what you have to work with. SOoooo, I managed to put up my Christmas tree in 10-Forward
The last one to post is the biggest fan of STAR TREK!

My favorite episodes:
TOS: Space Seed, The Ultimate Computer, The Enterprise Incident
TNG: Best of Both Worlds 1&2, Darmok (I think I got it right)
DS9: The tribute to "Trouble With Tribbles"
Voyager: The Flash Gordon episode
Enterprise: (you don't think I'm serious, do you?)
The Next Generation: Time's Arrow, 1 & 2.

Can you believe I already got a bootleg of Star Wars? Yeah, I couldn't believe it
$4.00 Go figure! Wasn't it just releast 4 days ago.

You know that's a Federal crime, don't you?

hahahahahaha I more than anyone know that THEY know where I am. It will be weeks before I watch it. Hell, I still haven't watched "Mission Impossible" yet. I got about 30 of them. The plan was to wait till we get snowed in, like LAST winter. Doesn't look like that's gonna happen.

Hmm I can give you my email could you send as a attachment :) LOL

I haven't seen the new Star Wars, yet.
RJC, I dig that Christmas tree you drummed up. I went back and looked at it. Cool idea.

I see that there are comments in the forum in SA where you've been doing that work with drawing software. I haven't gotten "that" caught up to checking forums yet, but I am moving that way. Looking foward to see what you've cooked up ...

Hoookay ....
- The movie had a real "thrown together" feel
- I didn't like our protagonists falling in love so quickly with no development of the relationship
- I didn't like our young girl who suddenly knew how to use the Force with no training or even prior association with Jedi
- I didn't like how our young girl so easily defeated a Jedi who was trained by none other than Luke Skywalker
- I didn't like how easy it was for them to access the planetary defense shield ... Heck, they took one person hostage and voila, they waltz into an unguarded room ...
- I didn't like how the young girl and Han's party just kinda ran into each other in an installation that was literally the size of a planet
- I didn't like the feel of where the story is going; just another take on Luke Skywalker's "redemption of Darth Vader"; we've seen that story before so I hope they take it somewhere else
- 'A few other things
But ...
- I loved seeing the original cast working together in their iconic roles again.
- I felt that the interaction between Han and Chewbacca; very lighthearted, tongue in cheek, superior to the original movies.
- The new "sith" character (Han's son) is totally cool (though at this point, a little weak; but that mask is bad arsed!)
- The killing of Han didn't surprise me, but is a decent plot tool
- It's "Star Wars", LoL

Indeed Welcome back Captain Pike.
I completely agree about the sum up of Star Wars. I read the actual book on Star Wars series 7 written 30 years ago. It was mostly about Luck developing further as a jedi and how the empire had trapped him. Due to the ridiculous way they released it. Luke and the other actors were far too old to continue. So you are right disney did a quick new thorn together script ???

I hope the next movie will be better. It is a disappointment to walk out of such a big release being unsure if I liked it or not ... but I guess its better than being sure of NOT liking it, LoL.

I still haven't seen the movies--new or old. I made my way through TOS, TNG, DS9, and halfway through Voyager in college then got so busy where I was at college 16 hours a day (I was trying to finish early so I was loading up on courses) and just forgot about Star Trek :/
I should pick that back up...
I knew the New Star Wars plot would be cheesy. They didn't even follow the original 7 book as Luke had lot more of the parts but he got old due to there ridiculous order they showed it in ??
The new Star Trek coming out 7/16 by Paramount and directed by JJ will be so much better :)
