"...I'll bring it right over in my new Klingon Warbird." - RJC
Ronny, Klingons do not use Warbirds. The Romulans do. The Klingons use Battle Cruisers.

I can't win.
RJC, you were partly right. The Klingons had a scout ship with a cloaking device called a "Bird of Prey."
One was hijacked by Enterprise survivors in the 4th film.

Here's a bit of Trek trivia you might find interesting. Its the back story to the infamous Kirk/Uhura kiss. A year before Star Trek was created, Gene Roddenberry was working on his 1st TV show called "The Lieutenant" for NBC. It was the story of a Marine Infantry battalion at Camp Pendleton during peacetime. Michelle Nichols, who was discovered at an acting workshop was cast for an episode entitled, "To Set It Right". She played the girlfriend of a white Marine, and Dennis Hopper played a Marine who objected to white men dating black women. America was in the midst of a civil right's movement and the episode was SOoo controvercial that NBC decided to not air it due to pressure from affiliate stations in different parts of the country.

Extrordinary Trivia Fact # 2; When the 1st pilot episode was made, it was the most expensive pilot NBC had ever produced and the network didn't like it. They thought it was too intelectual. (pff...suits
). However they liked Roddenberry's concept of using futuristic societies to tell relavant stories, so they made the un-heard of decision to make a 2nd pilot. At this time, Jeffrey Hunter--who played the 1st Captain---his wife was making extrordinary demands so as a result, Gene R.fired him. The 1st choice to replace him was Jack Lord---of "Hawaii 5-0" fame. He wanted 50% ownership of the show, so he was gone
. In walked Bill Shatner.

From IMDb:
Cast as Christopher Pike, captain of the USS Enterprise, in the original Star Trek (1966) pilot in 1964. However, when an undecided NBC requested a second pilot in early 1965, Hunter declined, having decided to concentrate on his movie career, instead. Producer Gene Roddenberry, after hearing the news, wrote to Hunter, "I am told you have decided not to go ahead with 'Star Trek'. This has to be your own decision, of course, and I must respect it", and then asked Hunter if he would come back for "one day or two of shooting an additional action opening which can result in a fast, tightly cut, exciting film release". Hunter, who had a six-month exclusive contract for the series lead, also declined that request. Footage from the first pilot was later incorporated into a two-part episode titled "The Menagerie" in "Star Trek"'s first season (Roddenberry later tried to give the impression that it was he who decided not to rehire Hunter for the second pilot. As executive producer Herbert F. Solow pointed out, however, major casting decisions for the series were made by Desilu and NBC executives, not the producer). It wasn't until 1988 that it was screened intact as a filler episode entitled "The Cage" on Star Trek: The Next Generation (1987) due to a writer's strike.

Hunter died of a cerebral hemorrhage in 1969. He had been hit in the head on a movie set in Spain, and was having "dizzy spells."

Karma can be sad but deserved results of your prior actions. What comes around goes around. Something I have always guided my life by. Very good info Ronny I haven't hear it in a while. Also Jamie that was from one of my favorite Star Trek movie released :)

More info from Shatner; "When creating the character, Leonard had a habit of raising an eyebrow to emphasize his concern or his questioning of a statement or action. It isn't that unusual. So he did it naturally in one scene, and the following week, a script direction said, "Spock lifts an eyebrow". The witers loved it and had him raising an eyebrow in just about every episode until he insisted they stop".

I'm not sure Dr but it seems his actions in the past may have caught up with him ??
Karma means action, work or deed also refers to the spiritual principle of cause and effect where intent and actions of an individual (cause) influence the future of that individual (effect). Good intent and good deed contribute to good karma and future happiness, while bad intent and bad deed contribute to bad karma and future suffering.
What don't you like about it ? Google, Star Trek Chairs/images This one looks close to the original.
