The OTF history thread

Yes the entire history. Well as much as I can find. PLEASE MESSAGE ME ON C.C IF YOU WANT TO GIVE ME FACTS.
Note: I don’t think there is a thread like this. Also, anything wrong will be corrected eventually.
OTF’s history is diverse(I hope). I arrived at otf 4-5 months ago. I started in a roleplay thread. My first thread I think was ‘anything I should know before joining?’.
Basic history:
OTF first started around 16 or 17 years ago. During this age, no one cared about popularity. Most people were middle aged men talking about their lives. You might be asking ‘what went wrong? Why are there just 11 year olds now, unless you’re an og. Well over the next 16 years otf went through its 2 golden ages. The beginning and the last 2 years. However, the quality of posts have slowly been going down the entire 16 years. Especially because of trolls like baby or spammers like breeze. (No insults meant). Also I found the first heal/hurt. It is 15 years ago and already finished. There also seems to be a deficit of threads around this time.

Bumping is obviously the main one. Back in the days it was done only on Sundays. This has now changed to every day or every hour. Sometimes it is done after 5 mins. Basix being swexy started a few months ago.
