I think this is a dumb take. Your the one that’s separating the “groups” of otf. for all I know, no one says there are different “groups” and you haven’t even been here that long. Just my opinion

Nah, let's continue dividing ourselves, we weren't divided enough anyways

???

It's well known that where a tight-knit community Everyone knows everyone. However, the amount of people leaving or going inactive is a serious problem. My dear friend John Hopper was the final breaking point. These long breaks from OTF or some members leaving for the summer, school year, etc are also a problem. And I'm not saying that it's bad to leave OTF we all have a unique life of our own. It's just a problem when we have a little less than 100 active members.
There's also a big split between OTF members which factors Into this big problem. Let's take a look, shall we?
- The OTFDAN otfer - Active in OTFDAN only - Only once in a while goes into other threads ( not by other OTFDAN members) - Active almost every day
- The "friend" - Again in the name probably a friend of an OTF member - Only interacts with the friend or friends of the member threads - Online rarely
-The newby - Active on the first day to a week - Normally stays a day up to a week - Online never after
- The OTFER - Online weekly - Interacts with spam threads happily - Stays for mouths and vanishes
- The cluber - Active daily - Talks a lot - Only in clubs or DMs- Nomaly an online dater
--------------------
We can see the problem and wed all be lying if we said we didnt fit into one. And this is a serous problum! These groups almost never cross paths and it takes weeks to change.. But dosent have to!

We need to start acting like a community, not like groups. I want it to work in harmony always a new member new active therds daily! And yet we all want this and it barely happens i feel as a community we need to work through the problem of why OTF members stay in one group and leave OTF so often, why new members join and leave so often! I don't want a " well blah blah blah duh " or one sentence. I want to have a discussion.

OTF is already very divided, there's no need to label people and split them into more groups

texans are good tho

I personally don’t understand the problem. Maybe I’m just stupid but what’s wrong with the community we have rn? The only real two groups are club and forums. We all have our own preferences and we don’t need to fix this “problem.”

#18 I get that. But I think that’s just how otf is, and I don’t think people will pitch in to make it what you want it to be.

#31 I agree

More importantly, there is no "fix". You can't force people to interact outside of their usual circle
