Public school is what exactly? A schooling environment created by the government for children to get educated and taught things. Is this not the clue, your stuck in a dimension of the government. When they teach you jobs they teach you and promote a 9-5 to the students. Why? Because that's the norm for them, I've heard a quote before which is " Schools want employees not entrepreneurs." You see, in future they need to get people to work. Nurses and doctors, police officers and shopkeepers. These are all 9-5 jobs, you work 60 years of your lifetime, not to mention around a fifth of your salary goes to the government anyway. They teach you the white man history, claiming England and America are great countries, claiming Africa is in trenches and slums, they claim racism and free speech is going to be solved, they teach you things to put in your head. All the lies are made to give you a certain idea, a certain idea of the world. The reality? Africa has riches, they have diamonds and jewels, the reason they are poor today is because of England and the Europeans taking their resources, if you think Africa is poor learn some real history, don't become brainwashed by the school and their stupid ideas and sayings. Why would you think so many rich people go to private school? Public is public for a reason, raising employees not entrepreneurs, putting ideas and brainwashing you, giving you low quality food, earning money from the government, giving you the worst chromebooks and devices, and supplying the bad teachers who give you a heck of a lot of pain everyday. They teach you that the world is a lovely place, that equality exists, that racism may end, that the world is wonderful. Yet we see people getting harrased for their race, innocent children being starved by war, and the countless of thousands of people passing away from all causes of issues daily. Who wants to be brainwashed, working hours and depressed in a low income job, surviving on the measly benefits the country gives you, and most of all getting taxed from your salary while helping the government in society. This isn't fair, yet education is compulsory, we don't have a choice, we don't have rights. Many children all over the globe complain about school. The teachers, the homework, the bullying, the people, the society, the jobs, the exams. Whatever it is, do you think that online schooled people complain, or homeschooled children. No, why? Because they don't have to go somewhere every day, Monday to Friday, and have heaps of homework to do. The state of schools is depressing, the teachers have been known to be unprofessional, unprepared, and clearly inexperienced in some places. The resources are limited, they focus on the very minimum just to tick it off. And they don't always counter bullying, racism, hate, abuse, and whatever happens there. Heck, they don't even let the kids go to the bathroom sometimes. I mean, you don't have to be intelligent to know this is messed up.

Years and years of education, all this for a simple minimum pay job, years and years of depressing work for a low pension, years of community service for no mention, hundreds of people helped yet nobody helps you.. A true shame.

Look, you may be enjoying school in Singapore or somewhere else. But, in England we dont allow kids to even use the bathrooms in school, there was articles where they gave the students keys because they put locks on the toilet doors. That's ridiculous, and as for America they have regular Sh*otings, as for China its the workload and homework that make kids depressed in school. Just because your country is good doesn't mean others are as lucky.

#10 america does NOT have regular shootings. Although they are a problem, I have never personally experienced one, nor has anybody i know. Ive been in the public school system for like 10 years at this point and for me personally I’ve felt pretty safe and secure. Although that isn’t the case for everyone, I can tell you know it’s not like we have a shooting every other day here
Avatar of BLOBLAHBLE
Yeah, the last shooting was like a month or two ago, although that’s still a little too recently
Avatar of D1llPicklr
I agree it’s an issue, but saying it’s regular is a gross over exaggeration

#1 not quite true. I'm not an expert on this, seeing that I've spent two of my three school years in a private school, but England and America were, and are, great countries, whether you reference a textbook from a private or public school or just a book separate from any of those. And yes, yes, Africa is somewhat poor because other countries plundered its wealth. But it's also poor due to bad government decisions, bad investments, etc.
