sooo many i dont know where to start. i wanna see licorice pizza, pig, and finish the robe. i probably should watch androcles & the lion first tho. only cuz i think they got to the robe by getting thru A & the lion first (jean simmons/victor mature). in the robe I stopped at the 'entrails of an owl" part...hilarious !

the color is absolutely beautiful ! they say it was the 1st show [1953] to use widescreen cinemascope. compare that to green mansions [1959] (terrible color 1st one to use panavision). 6 yrs passed and the lens-color got worse ?
interesting antoninus & livinia (jean simmons) in the robe...i think. in spartacus [1960] there played a antoninus & jean simmons plays virinia. fwiw. could use a fact check.
