'tom'.. I Can relate, to being Not being 'good'-at-'making friends'..{to this day, in fact} - Although, it's Also True.. {of which I'm a 'Johnny-come-lately' aware of.. though Not yet 'arrived'} - That, if one wants to have 'friends' - They must 1st show themselves to be 'friendly'! ..D-u-h?!
Anyway, the inevetible Non-reciprocality, {of others}, in doing that, 'Comes-with-the-Territory'.. So as to avoid becoming, overly discouraged!
In any event - I looked up this 'parable' in the last few minutes.. And, though technically, it represents, 'someone-elses-words' - Nevertheless.. The following, {which due to a 'glitch' I've encountered, will be posted shortly}.. 'speaks' to me..{if you will}.. In better appreciating, what Many regard, as the multi-dimensionality, of our individual and collective Consciousness! .. Cheers ..

Myself I'd like to be calmer. I'd also like to be more considerate . More of a gentleman .

My own Life 'clock' assessment, is that it's appreciably More 'on target' if you will, than most All 'agnostics'.. for one.
Yet, even 'born-again-believer' status ..{esp. among the 'slackers' like myself}.. does Not make one immune, from the 'Negatives' found in the Less 'clued-in' 'Masses' {of people}. - Nor would it, I'd imagine - Make completely 'immune'.. for Even those I consider my hypothetical 'elders'-In-the-Lord.
But, that being said - I honestly do Not feel that, I'm on the same 'needful-of-'karma' help, status.. as some, of my peers here, at 'chess{dot}com' - Which given their large number.. Is nothing to 'Crow' over! o:
