The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is funding a pilot project in which a fuel cell will separate carbon dioxide from the exhaust created by a coal-burning power plant. If successful, the project could lead to technology that extends the useful life of coal or natural gas power plants while providing low-emission power.

Yawn. Is there any way we can accelerate global warming. I tire of this world.
cavetiger
I live in Scotland. I can't wait for Global Warming to turn my country from a wet, cold, windy nightmare into the riviera of the Northern Atlantic.
cavetiger
Its already started. Box jellyfish have been spotted sharing a Starbucks coffee together on Brighton beach.
PlayChessPoorly
It was actually a grande carmel frappachino with java chips not a "coffee" as you so carelessly called it. You europeans are so misinformed.
cavetiger
We live in a world of obfuscation and mendacity.

But lets face it, wild carbon is not as much of a problem as wild tigers. Wild carbon gets your clothes dirty but wild tigers eat you!

Carbon capture is missing the point.

Well after they finish it I wonder if we can give the technology to china for free... seriously it could save us money in the long run.

I heard that a certain percentage of the fog in San Fransisco is now actually smog making its' way from China over the ocean.
