THE X-FILES

    Jesus, in all the yrs the site's been going we don't have a thread for the X-Files.?   I thought with season 11 coming on Jan 3rd there's gotta be other members besides me who like that show. This week's TV Guide gives us a good rundown. Remember how Mulder & Scully had a child.? The season opener has the child missing,--possibly abducted by grey aliens. (Part of the arch episodes). Everyone's back--Skinner, cigarette smoking man, The Lone Gunman, Agent Monica Reyes, etc. Then we have 6 or 8 monster of the week episodes, then the cliff hanger. Don't have any more info then that. Like my PET thread, stay ON-TOPIC. 

  I'm getting a listing of 8pm, E.S.T.  "I want to believe".

  OMG!! Did you see that.?  Just before the 1st commercial cigarette smoking man was studying a CHESS position. They only showed it briefly but Chris Carter wouldn't of put that scene in unless it was important. I believe if we study that chess position we can save Scully & her baby, stop cigarette smoking man, and also save the planet. We now know you can't trust Agent Monica Reyes.  I also believe Erik is part of this conspiracy. Hiding in plain site Mr Allbest heh.?

   Well 2 things lite up social media today while people we're snowed in. 1st; This could be the X-Files last season. Scully says she's done and won't come back.  I say offer it to Jodie Foster. Rough episode for Gillian Anderson. She passed out, left the hospital and had a car accident.  2nd; Mulder MAY not be the father of her baby.

  Well that was a weird episode, good but weird. More like "The Lone Gunman meets TRON".  The intro was WAY too dark, I mean physically dark. No light, couldn't see a dam thing. Chris Carter is going to be old someday and he too won't be able to read the sub-titles. They write them WAY too small and they don't leave them on the screen long enough.  Like the ending. and he got one thing right. In the future, the New England Patriots won't win......EVER!

  Now THAT was one creppy show Max.  Don't get me wrong, I loved it. It would scare the beejezus out of you. I remember one episode with numerous dogs--German shepards. The trainers were off camera obviously. I thought it was trick photography. Trained them all to move  synchonically. Very slick.

I think that's why they cancelled it :-(. I was loving every minute of it.

  They both we're aired on a Fri night, back to back. Haven't had that much fun since "Fri the 13th" episodes.

I could be wrong but,  I think he stared in another "Alien" movie too......not sure if it was Alien 2...or 3....or..? I know his name....Lance Henrickson, fine actor.

Yes, did a check...... There was Alien 3 and the spin-off Aliens vs Predators..... 

 REMINDER; 8pm, not 9pm.   Tonight will be a "formula" episode.  In 11 yrs one of their best episodes was the Christmas one with 2 ghosts starring Lilly Tomlin and Ed Asner.
