This book had terrible character development and no romance at all! None of the characters were fleshed out and the plot was all over the place, perhaps even nonexistent! For that reason I rate this book 1 out of 5 stars. (It didn't even have terrible instalove/love triangles to keep me entertained.) Here's the book:
I have read that book many times and must disagree with your opinions about the plot. The plot was well developed, including crucial detail and not forgetting anything that could alter the ending. However, it didn’t spoil the ending at all and there were a lot of plot twists to keep things exciting. Love triangles were admittedly missing from the book but it did have ‘dysfunctional romance’ so that’s ok. Personally, this book was a must-read. If you want the sequel, a thesaurus is available by the same publisher. Both books are 5-star quality!
Not all books need a love triangle. All Quiet on the Western Front, of the most influential books in history, has few female characters, although there is briefly a section of romance between side characters
