And I have never been asked such a question before in my bearded life. lol ....threw me off.

o trust me...my seven year old daughter knows the rules until she gets bored of them, then makes her own. I'll let her play her rules because then I can make up mine and DESTROY HER!!!! MUAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHHAHHAAHHAAA!!!

With a name like Stumpy Blitzer, and a Blitz rating of 1600, he'll Stump all over you.

I was told by head of support that it is suggested that everyone with the problem log out and back in. Also that if the problem continues, to continue making bug reports. (Not here-- via the bug report tool.)
And that you will be able to get your points back due to the bugs. Just write an email to support@chess.com.

I’d kill for some good coffee right about now.

They actually sell it in grocery stores!

We need to block some people.

Martin, If you haven't already, I strongly suggest you do the same.
Sounds like you and Meximartini need to get your own forum thread. Listen, Pumpkin, you need to let the adults play adult here, okay?
Martin_Stahl is adult enough he can and should be responsible for his own actions and words---particularly because he has the Blue Pawn of UnAuthoritativeness next to his name.
He came out. He stepped in it. I didn't make him post what he posted.
If you think he needs a Safe Space for Snowflakes, great. He can stop pretending to be someone he's not: a speaker for the site.
Go ahead, block me. Kumbayah. Go have fun with your Meme BF Meximartini so we can continue the adult conversation without the kids whining for doughnuts.

And why would I need to be blocked? For saying that this situation is unacceptable? It is.
The bug in question is not some obscure defect. Very basic functionality is broken. This should never get through the QA.
A professional dev team owns up to their screw ups. They are proactive in informing their customers of the possible damage and do not keep their mouth shut hoping everything just blows over and only reacting after people start banging on the door. If there are upset customers, they do not get defensive by saying stuff happens and software has bugs, stop whining. No, they say, yes, you're right, this is unacceptable, we're sorry and will do our best to make sure that it does not happen again. That's what I expect from a professional software shop (including my own). Chess.com does not come across as one.
If you do not like what I am saying, fine, block me, I do not care.
Google has bugs and process issues. I'm fighting them now to get an email account restored because someone claimed the owner of the address was dead ... which any due diligence would have shown that not to be the case.
Ok, I won't even argue about it (I did not say google does not have bugs, btw). Suppose google is equally bad (it is not, but suppose it is). Does it somehow excuse chess.com and makes this situation acceptable?
All beard. you are sounding like you've never seen one before.....
