@AntiMustard, pretty sure you meant “greed and opportunism” and you’ve made a compelling and well stated point(s). If this singular event was based on nothing more than this, I’d reject your point outright as it wouldn’t pass muster. If we look at this event as a part of the whole, i don’t understand it as an act of greed or opportunism either. Some “upgrades” I’d agree are part of “expanding the brand” so-to-speak, but i don’t necessarily find fault with a private company in doing so. As for me, i pay approximately $0.08 per day to use this site. I wouldn’t need to as i don’t really use all that my pennies allow me to. I guess that is why i am able to live with the site’s shortcomings. Shoot i pay dearly for internet and satellite that goes out nearly every time it rains and i know Elon Musk rakes in far more than CC. But yes, it can be very frustrating and those that have lost time and energy (not merely ratings points) have an absolute justification for feeling that way.

I'm very sorry, but I have been banned from obtaining medication. They cited that I wasn't using the meds for what they were originally prescribed for. So I just have to "wing it" now without them.

It's all starting to make a little sense now... ;-)

Love of the soft things is my drug. And the acknowledgement of gratitude and goodness. Enjoying the presence of others is great too.

Thank you hunnie.

I just blocked you by the way, so hurray for feeling special You can block me too if you want, I don't care

If you actually didn't care you would have just blocked me without posting it...pro tip for future attempts at saving face.

this has no face.

"Saving face" hun?

Look at the post below yours, by The Pug.

Pun Intended?

Also know that I blocked you for no specific reason, just because I could, you'll always be my sweetie pie and you have always made me happy - you're sensible and always have a good arguing point.

Wait….which person. Me? Nervous/confused.

DefenderPug2

Wait….so why’d you block him?

DefenderPug2

I wish I could be as light minded about being blocked as you. I feel a stab to the heart everytime I’m blocked. I care too much about people. It hurts for me….

What about train wrecks? (fighting the temptation to post one of the common train wreck pics...)

haha

If you watch the btickler interact with me, you'll notice that he doesn't care about my feelings, even when he knows that he hurt them really bad and I have to cry about it. This what makes him great - part of the reason why he makes me happy. I would hug him but I don't know how to do that through the keyboard.

I open to suggestions.

Body pillow of his pfp.

Passive-aggressiveness - it rarely is seen in a positive light.

"I'm not offended, dear, even though I have thousand reasons to be. Now feel sorry for me, waaah waaah!"

DefenderPug2

Who cans asparagus? Disgusting. It should be fresh.

Because you understand as well as I do, that a big strong man that doesn't care for a woman's feelings hurts her so bad, that in the end - she likes it because of the "high level of masculinity."

I see someone finally posted a train wreck gif.

Oh my Gemma.

You're not fooling anyone, dude.   Not then, and not now.

You told me that same thing a long time ago, btickler. Did you think I forgot?

That would probably be why I said "not then, and not now" wink.png...

Well hunnie I'm not sure why you are thinking that, then, and now. Who told you that I'm "fooling" someone?

Are you listening to Tsismas btickler?

You know that's not good for you, or anyone.

Nobody told me anything.  It's blatantly obvious.

There's a few things I want to know.

1. What is it that you think that I'm doing to fool you.

2. Does this need to be reported to chess.com moderation staff.

3. Do I need to make a correction somewhere.

We've been through this before.  Somehow you remember everything but that wink.png.

I didn't say you are trying to fool *me*....I said you aren't fooling anyone (which is somewhat of an overstatement, but it takes longer to say "you aren't fooling anyone who is reasonably observant").

Your online persona and your affectations are "creatively invented", to put it nicely.

It's not a big deal, feel free to continue on with whatever your current agenda is.

CannedAsparagus

I find that easy to believe. Everything seems too 'fluffy' and artificial about this person. Too much geared towards specific reactions to be evoked from others. I also find it easy to make such bold, honest statements as I myself am a complete nobody, heh heh.

CannedAsparagus

Oh, my previous post was a response to what btickler wrote, btw.

DiogenesDue

No need to worry about being blocked on occasion, but that reasoning is pure guff...if you are blocked over and over again by multiple different people, it's a good time to consider whether you might be the only common denominator.  If you are, then modify your behavior rather than deciding everybody else but you in the equation must have psychological problems wink.png.

This is a life lesson some people never learn.

What btickler is referring to is, on chess.com, I play a different personality from what I really am in real life. when he says that I am "fooling no-one," he is correct - numerous individuals, like @bishop_E3 and @drspudnik and @blueemu and @llama47 and @flawlessjuice have called me out. Comments about me being "nuts" fit what he is talking about.

As for the blocking.

I wouldn't consider it a bad thing, as it stops individuals from making posts on your threads and notes and other areas of communication.

It can be done for many reasons, or none at all.

When you say “fooling”. What are you fooling people about?
